Opa's Peppered Cured Smoked Turkey Breast is our take on turkey jerky elevated to a deli-quality snack — premium turkey breast enhanced with select seasonings and cracked black pepper, then cured and smoked in small batches to keep the natural moisture intact. Each slice is fully prepared and ready to serve, with a balanced pepper crust and a tender, lean bite that holds up across slicing or pulling apart by hand.
Slice it thin as a lean post-workout protein, layer it onto a Hill Country charcuterie board with sharp cheddar and pickled okra, pack it as a Texas jerky alternative for hiking and travel, or build a high-protein lunch wrap with leafy greens and grainy mustard. Pull it from the package as a quick between-meals protein bite, or slice it onto crackers for a lighter charcuterie option that holds its own. All Opa’s smoked meats require refrigeration, without exception. Generally, smoked sausage has a ninety-day refrigerated shelf life and can be frozen for up to one year. Keep tenderloins and jerky in a well-ventilated, dry area of the refrigerator. Do not store tenderloins or jerky in plastic wrap, plastic bags or any sealed container — these items keep best loosely wrapped in a clean kitchen towel or paper towel.
Preparing Opa’s Smoked Meats:
Our smoked meats are fully cooked and ready to serve. Hams, turkeys and tenderloins are great cold or gently heated in the oven… don’t overheat or these delicious, juicy meats may dry out. Grill our sausage, heat in the oven or on the stovetop in a skillet. It’s especially good simmered in beer. We do not recommend heating sausage in a microwave — it toughens the sausage casing.

All products are shipped frozen to ensure the quality of your order. All packages are shipped in a sealed styro-foam container packed with frozen gel packs.
While we make every effort to minimize shipping charges for our customers, any order shipped to an address not in Texas will require expedited shipping and handling rates to accommodate shipping requirements for perishable items. These rates are already reflected in the out of state rate chart.

All SHIPMENTS TO ALASKA AND HAWAII MUST BE SHIPPED USING EXPEDITED SHIPPING.
